Sometimes I think I probably wouldn’t register as a major tragedy if I died in 10 or 15 years. I would have done better than some of my peers…but I just think I have so much more I want to do….so many stories in me and ways I want to get to people. The rhetoric is getting much worse now. Chants of “send her back!” erupting at a Trump rally. I just don’t know if we have the firepower to combat this. Fully expecting to have four more years of this shit.

Had a Twitter quasi fight when I engaged with a person who bitched about her MAGA mother. I just said something about finding other things to talk about with relatives. That Trump isn’t worth breaking up your own family. While in general people were supportive, there’s that contingency that points out your white privilege and how being silent is complicit (When am I silent? When I don’t want to argue with my dad over politics?) And ultimately, I just get exhausted from the whole thing. I finally muted the whole conversation.
