Coronavirus fear is doing nothing to change the disgusting people who sneeze out shit and then don’t wash their hands.

It’s also Trump’s 1^st non self-inflicted crisis. And it’s showing how ill-equipped he is.

Guy last night angrily tweeted at me about How am I going to feed, clothe and take care of these invaders or this invasion…?

I make up another internet policy: if you call me a derogatory name in a response, you get muted/blocked automatically.

It actually made me laugh because I was Live-Tweeting The Invaders at the same time.

Yeah…Coronavirus is all anyone talks about. The things that it shuts down. The events that are in jeopardy. The bleakness it casts over our lives. This suuuuuuuucks…..

Divided takes on Biden’s “You’re full of shit” to a union guy who challenged him on his gun control position. Also, the “Biden is losing it” narrative being fueled by phony doctored video and trolls on the internet.

Tired of arguing/pointing out things about the Coronavirus. It’s just a big fucking joke and people act like you’re being irrational if you take precautions. People getting mad about things getting shut down… 5 points that people come at this with:

1. Dismiss.

2. Switch it up.

3. Blame the media.

4. Panic.

5. Argue.

And it is so annoying. Yes, people die from flu. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take this seriously. No, 98% survival rate isn’t good. It means 1 in 50. I means one person on every 2 baseball teams. It means ten people at my work.

Coronavirus did its damage. NBA season. Tom Hanks and wife. MLB delayed 2 weeks. We have our supplies. I grabbed more books from the library. But really hoping this gets contained.

Corona will define how shitty this year gets. It will be even worse after all this and all this mismanagement, Trump still gets re-elected. This is the kick in the balls that I hope will never come.

Such resistance to basic precautions. Social distancing. Quarantining. Staying away from big crowds. People don’t take any of this seriously and it is really pissing me off.

The Coronavirus caused more shutdowns and they are all long-term. Bars/Restaurants closed at 5 pm. Carryout is the only way to get food. Grocery stores out of stuff. Aldi was out of bottled water and sugar. No sports, No theatre. No live entertainment. No gatherings of more than 50 people.

Coronavirus continues…probably not long til we are completely shut in. Trump’s arrogance and incompetence in not taking this seriously have led us to this point. I know it could be worse. But it ‘s getting close to that point. If the power went out…if one of us got sick. If it went on for 6 months…I just don’t see it getting better right now…might be waiting for people to die until they stop.

2:04 am So sad about this whole thing. Svengoolie has suspended production. It’s only a matter of time before we just run out of stuff to watch or do…and I get to the end of a Super Sci Fi Saturday Night and I’m sad because that’ it for another week and it’s all up in the air….

My generation is well-prepared for this. We roll with the punches. We know how to use smart phones but can live without them. We were left alone and can entertain ourselves. We got by with limited entertainment options. (that’s what this article said).

Coronavirus…I feel a little better about the prospects of humanity surviving. I just don’t know what this is going to mean for a lot of my favorite things.

GOP is trying to ram through a bill that heavily favors big giveaways to corporate America, some 500 billion, with a lousy 1 time $1200 for people like me. Dems blocking it (not sure how or what the numbers are, as they are a minority party at 47 votes) but that’s where we are at…politicizing relief while more people get sick and nearly 600 dead from Coronavirus.

What a time to be alive!

My alert level is high. I keep to myself. I don’t touch anything with my bare hands. I use sani-wipes on surfaces. I don’t touch my face. I try to keep my distance. But some stuff is tricky.

And now Trump is pushing an irresponsible plan to be open for business and have the churches full by Easter. Somebody has to do something. People are dying.

US= 53,740 confirmed cases (706 dead).

World= 417, 966 Confirmed cases (18, 615 dead).

But yeah…it’s the flu.

The hope is that I’m not sick. I am not getting sick. That my self-isolating and social distancing will have served the purpose of keeping me healthy, even as I have had to go to work to keep from falling behind on the bills…

I worked and tried to stay isolated when I could. Try not to be sad. Trying not to be sad is a daily thing. I keep thinking of things that might not survive.

Capitalism does not trump humanity. Trump is not God. Fuck everything. 2020 sucks.

Did not leave the house today. I picked up the paper from the front yard, brought the recycle bins in from the back, that was it. I share the fatalism of these times…that it will never get better…that life is only going to be a version of this…

But we keep on living for now….

Covid-19 ravages the state, the nations and the world. Got like….1000 cases here in Maryland. Trump demands fealty from the governors. It is ridiculous. We have to survive him. He cannot be allowed to continue.

Trump’s daily press conferences for ratings and ego, not information. He had the My Pillow Guy, who got a free infomercial in exchange for a promise of new medical masks. No one who goes along with evil is innocent.

I don’t go along; I just don’t feel like arguing…
