A lot of people online have tweeted about their boredom during “quarantine” or “lockdown” and while I don’t judge, I don’t think it’s been as profound for me. Partly because I still go to a job. I still wake up and get dressed and work on my writing. I watch Star Trek. I take a nap. I do an afternoon writing session. And the day goes by…

Trump again seizing shipments from planes working for states to add to National “stockpile.” This is after Kushner said states needed to be more prepared. They have gone from incompetent to downright cruel. And meanwhile, using the confusion to repeal clean air laws for cars. And the Trump supporters blame Democrats for trying to use a crisis for political gain. This is really maddening. There are real problems in the world and Trump just takes us so far away from real solutions. You couldn’t have put a worse person in charge. Evil and incompetent and willfully ignorant, A Very Stable Genius details how he doesn’t listen to anyone. He is so arrogant; he thinks he knows better at all times. I can’t take it. The country can’t take it. The world can’t take it.

I admonished the Twitter crowd against indulging Trump by watching yet another press briefing. He’s on every day to spread disinformation. Or just air a gripe or argue with the media. I haven’t watched any of them. I get the report from Yamiche on Twitter, or I read about it. People need to keep sane and stay away.

Bernie dropped out. Biden is the man now. Bernie folks losing their minds. Like…dude…he has had no shot for over a month now. And his supposed magical popularity didn’t bring out the young vote in any of the states after the first 3. GTF over yourselves….

Trump’s batshit press conferences…I haven’t watched any of them. He decided to stop funding the World Health Organization (pending review). Just some more bullshit to shift the blame and cover for his poor leadership. He is truly the worst president in my lifetime.

More Trump…a staged plan to re-open the country. Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil are offering irresponsible advice to Americans…seem to want to accept death from Covid-19 as an inevitable consequence of keeping the economy going. Yeah…I blame Oprah but even she doesn’t have that kind of foresight.

These days I get a little sad at the end of Saturday nights. This is something I look forward to, I guess. My stupid little problems are nothing compared to what’s going on in the world. But anyway…we’ll have next week. Take care…

Got home in record time. The few people on the road drive very fast. The ones who don’t are just in the fucking way.

Right now I am sitting at an “essential” job, there are 30 people in the break room (out of hundreds), I took off an uncomfortable mask so I can eat my lunch, running the risk of getting sick the whole time. I’d much prefer being home. I don’t give a fuck about the economy and I don’t want to die for it.

Trump cut his briefing short in part because of fallout from his disinfectant lunacy and because CNN reporter didn’t agree to move to the back. He’s crumbling, but I don’t see him leaving on his own, as so many people like to speculate. In reality, the only way he goes is thru Biden. Sorry, folks. He ain’t dying, he ain’t resigning. He’s not getting impeached again (he’ll beat it again), he’s not being 25^thed out. Biden is your shot. You don’t want to vote for Biden, STFU and sit TF Down.

Watched an episode of Explained about cults and it really seems to match what Trump does. These people aren’t rational. They don’t care if he lies. He’s infallible to them. He is authoritarian. He creates enemies. He is a narcissist. He has affected me on a visceral level since 2016. So manipulative and perceiving persecution at every turn….
